Special Education Teacher

Special education teachers work with students who have a wide range of learning ,mental,emotional and physical disabilities.They adapt general education lessons and teach various subjects,such as reading ,writing,and math to students with moderate disabilities.They also teach basic skills,such as literacy and communication techniques.
Teachers responsibilities is to assess students skills to determine their needs and to develop teaching plan,also assign activities that are specific to each student abilities.Teacher is responsible to teach and mentor students in class and develop individualized education programs for each student,in addition to that teacher should discuss student's progress with their parents,teachers and councelors.
Helping students with disabilities can be highly rewarding.It also can be quite stressful_emotionally demanding and physically draining.
